Last Minute Halloween Plans

Halloween may be in the past, but that doesn’t mean the fun has to end! If you couldn’t make it to the Halloween festivities last weekend, have no fear; there are still plenty of opportunities to celebrate this weekend. Here’s a list of Halloween events happening this weekend in the Cincinnati area.

The Haunted Escape Game

  • This is no ordinary escape room. The Haunted Escape Game has a total of eight terrifying rooms and is an hour long! Rates start at $33.25. For more information visit the website at https://www.otrescape.com/haunted-escape-game .

USS Nightmare

7pm – 1am

  • This classic Cincinnati Halloween staple takes you for a haunted ride down the Ohio River. Rates for USS Nightmare range from $8 to $75. You can visit their website at http://ussnightmare.com/ to learn more.

The Dent Schoolhouse

5963 Harrison Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45248

  • Having been to The Dent Schoolhouse I would recommend it if you’re in the mood for a good scare. This haunted house has consistently been rated as one of the best haunted houses in America. Ticket costs range from $20 to $45. Try the Lights Out Touch Pass Fast Pass for an even better scare… the monsters are allowed to touch you! Halloween Nightmare Experience

  • This event consists of a screening of Halloween at the AMC Theater in Newport followed by a trip on The USS Nightmare. Oakley Masquerade

Century Theater, 3021 Madison Road, Oakley

8 pm Nov. 2, 20th

  • Named as “Cincinnati’s largest Halloween costume party” this masquerade benefits Maslow’s Army and is $40 general admission and $60 for VIP. This event is a great option for those wanting to show off their great costumes. Visit com for more details.

Haunted Nights at Land of Illusion Haunted Scream Park

8762 Thomas Road, Middletown

Through Nov. 3rd

  • This theme park includes a haunted house and trail, 3D maze, The Zombie Sniper Patrol and more. The event takes place Thursday through Sunday Nov. 3. Admission to enter the park ranges from $15 to $75. Visit their website https://haunt.landofillusion.com/ for more details.
